 The Financial Institutions Division of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry regulates Nevada mortgage lenders and Nevada mortgage brokers. Nevada’s licensee list is available on the Department of Business and Industry website, http://fid.state.nv.us.

Nevada’s licensing statute for mortgage lenders and brokers was originally enacted in 1973. It was amended in 1999 to cover only mortgage brokers, and a new statute was enacted for mortgage companies2 .
